Happy Thanksgiving our dear patients and friends! We are so thankful for each one of you this year. As the holiday is approaching, here are some tips to make this holiday weekend as pain-free as possible:
- If you’re traveling to visit your family and friends, remember to take frequent stretching breaks. Long drives or plane rides can aggravate current symptoms.
- Always remember to squat when lifting groceries or that yummy roasted turkey out of the oven. Avoid bending your back.
- Avoid sleeping on the couch or places where there isn’t back support. Take a good nap in your bed!
- Delegate tasks if you are hosting. Have family and friends help with certain dishes to make it as stress free as possible, on you and your body.
